About the Course
Construction and civil engineering projects can affect land, water, the natural environment, human health and neighbouring activities. Environmental issues must therefore be addressed early and coordinated with design, permitting, procurement and production.
This course provides a practical introduction to the structure of the Swedish Environmental Code and its effect on each stage of a project. Participants gain an understanding of responsibility, precautionary measures, approval processes, supervision and documentation. Examples show how environmental risks can affect time, cost and deliverability.
