About the Course
AB 04 and ABT 06 are central standard forms of contract in Swedish construction and civil engineering projects. They regulate responsibilities, contract documents, changes, time, payment, defects and disputes. The distinction between an execution contract and a design and build contract affects both design responsibility and the parties’ allocation of risk.
Unclear requirements, late notices and inadequate records often lead to financial disputes. This course gives clients, contractors and consultants a practical understanding of how to manage a contract throughout the project. Examples and exercises connect the contractual provisions to situations that arise in day-to-day project work.
